Bio: Flavia Brunetti has lived all over but came home to her city of Rome, Italy to find the perfect espresso and search for stories. Her writing, fueled also by her work in international humanitarian aid, often explores time, place and belonging. She is the author of the novels The Web of Time (2025) and All the Way to Italy (2018). Her shorter work can also be found in The New Humanitarian, Roi Fainéant Press, Writer’s Digest, The Nerd Daily, Sky Island Journal, and others. Flavia was the inaugural guest judge for Open Doors Review as well as being a contributor, and she’s a huge fan of the magazine.

How does it work?
Every session will last one hours. We will provide 5-6 different timed prompts to get you writing. Writers are encouraged to share a few sentences or a paragraph of what you’ve written (no feedback, just listening!) but it’s not required.
What should I do to prepare?
Just come ready to write in whatever way you prefer!
Do I have to share?
You never have to share anything you have written.
Can I get feedback on what I’ve written?
This session will be about creating new writing but no critiques please.
