Write Sip & Paint (February 2024)

Write, paint (and sip) i a beautiful venue in the heart of Florence. Join Lauren Mouat of the Open Doors Review and artist Tatiana Stadnichenko for a relaxing afternoon exploring creativity through the senses. Physical and sensory details can be the key to crafting a scene or to unlocking a memory. We started off with some writing exercises designed to focus on capturing those bodily details that can take a piece of writing to the next level. After this we’ll move on to an unusual kind of watercolor – painting with wine! During this portion of the workshop, you’ll learn the basics of composition and drawing along with this new technique led by artist Tatiana Stadnichenko.
